Powerful headphone amplifier & high-performance DAC
The xDuoo TA-30 is a high-performance tube and DAC headphone amplifier combo, offering rich and detailed sound reproduction. Its headphone output amplified by a pair of power tubes is capable of developing a consequent power of 3000mW, allowing to accompany the vast majority of headphones on the market.
The digital/analogue conversion section is entrusted to a DAC ES9038Q2M chip, efficiently processing and converting the signal for the most transparent reproduction possible. This chip also supports high sample rates up to 32bit 768kHz PCM and DSD512.
A complete set of connectors
The TA-30 offers a complete connectivity allowing it to be integrated into many audio systems. The TA-30 offers Coaxial, Optical, USB-B and Bluetooth 5.0 inputs. The SPDIF inputs are combined with an AKM AK4118 receiver supporting PCM sample rates up to 24bit 192kHz and DSD64 (DoP). The USB input uses a high-performance XMOS XU208 interface that can read PCM files up to 32bit 768kHz, DSD up to DSD512 and DXD up to 32bit 384kHz. The onboard Bluetooth chip supports the aptX HD and LDAC codecs, enabling high quality remote transmission.
On the output side, the TA-30 offers an amplified headphone output on the front panel on a 6.35mm jack connector and two stereo RCA outputs on the rear panel.
Bluetooth 5.0 transmission
The xDuoo TA-30 is equipped with a Qualcomm CSR8675 Bluetooth 5.0 receiver chip. This high quality chip enables fast and stable remote broadcasting of your audio stream. The chip supports the aptX, aptX HD, aptX LL and LDAC codecs, providing near or better than CD quality playback.
Tube rectification and amplification
This amplifier integrates 3 tubes. The first one, a 5Z3P tube serves as a high voltage rectifier, where the two others, ECC82, allow to process and amplify the audio signal. These tubes ensure a rich reproduction marked by a signature peculiar to tube devices.
The ES9038Q2M DAC for digital-to-analog conversion offers excellent audio performance, thanks in particular to its Time Domain Jitter Eliminator technology delivering a dynamic range of 129dB and a THD+N of -120dB. The DAC also incorporates 7 PCM filters and 1 DSD filter.
