DAYTON AUDIO AMTPOD-4 AMT Tweeter (Pair)

The Dayton Audio AMTPOD-4 is a car tweeter using AMT (Air Motion Transformer) technology to reproduce high frequencies accurately. Its pleated Kapton diaphragm with aluminum conductor covers a range of 4500 to 40000Hz, under an impedance of 4Ω, with a power handling of 15W RMS and a sensitivity of 90dB. Its 30°-angled enclosure, with a diameter of 42mm and a height of 22mm, makes it easy to install on the dashboard or the A-pillar.

Sold as a pair, it connects to an external high-pass filter thanks to the 50.8cm wires, the absence of a built-in capacitor allowing you to select the component suited to your installation. Dayton Audio recommends a 6.8µF non-polarized capacitor in series on the positive terminal, in order to obtain a crossover frequency close to 7800Hz with a slope of 6dB per octave. The included 3M VHB adhesive tape secures the enclosure inside the cabin.
