DAYTON AUDIO AN25F-4 Tweeter Speaker Driver (Pair)

The Dayton Audio AN25F-4 is a pair of 1" (25.4 mm) soft dome tweeters from the Automotive Neodymium series, designed to deliver precise and detailed high-frequency reproduction. Originally developed for automotive audio systems, these tweeters also integrate perfectly into numerous HiFi and DIY projects thanks to their modern design, compact footprint, and exceptionally linear response above 3kHz. Compatible with a 4Ω load, they handle 40W RMS continuous power (80W max with appropriate crossover filtering) and provide a very high sensitivity of 96dB (2.83V/1m), enabling high sound pressure levels with moderate power. They feature a 25.4 mm silk diaphragm coupled with a voice coil of the same diameter, ensuring excellent power handling, remarkable clarity, and wide off-axis dispersion. Their powerful neodymium motor guarantees low distortion while maintaining a compact form factor, making them particularly well suited for MTM and TMM configurations requiring minimal spacing between the tweeter and midwoofer drivers. With a frequency response from 3000Hz to 20kHz, a resonant frequency of 1619Hz, a DC resistance of 3Ω, and the possibility of flush or surface mounting thanks to the included accessories, the AN25F-4 provides a versatile and high-performance solution for automotive audio systems and high-efficiency loudspeakers.
