The iBasso CB19C is a USB-C Y-cable designed specifically for use with a dongle (such as a portable USB amplifier or DAC). It features two USB-C connectors, one for power and the other for data transfer. Its 22.5 cm pure silver-plated copper cable ensures optimal conductivity.
Smartphones generally have limited output current for OTG devices. Furthermore, as they are not specifically designed for HiFi use, smartphones can generate significant interference. The resulting power supply is therefore not ideal and can be disrupted by numerous sources of noise.
