The Douk Audio VFD253 is a multifunction VU meter combining an audio spectrum analyzer, Bluetooth 5.0 receiver, and audio switch compact and elegant device. It features a high-resolution VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) screen with a 25 × 15 point matrix using a green fluorescent display dedicated to real-time music analysis. Compatible with a frequency range from 80Hz to 16kHz, it allows precise audio spectrum visualization with several dynamic display modes and a custom AGC algorithm ensuring smooth and readable rendering at both low and high signal levels.
The VFD253 can operate from multiple audio sources thanks to its built-in microphone, Bluetooth 5.0 receiver, and dual 3.5mm AUX inputs, compatible with smartphones, computers, gaming consoles, amplifiers, or active speakers. It also features a 3.5mm AUX output, allowing it to function as an audio switch within a HiFi or desktop setup.
The device also integrates a high-precision clock function based on an RX8025T quartz oscillator offering ±3ppm accuracy, with an annual drift of less than one minute. It offers 2 clock display modes as well as 5 music spectrum display modes, with many adjustable parameters such as gain, brightness, bar fall speed, peak hold time, and peak decay speed. All settings benefit from power-off memory, avoiding the need to reconfigure the device after shutdown.
Controllable via the included remote control, the VFD253 features a CNC-machined aluminum chassis combined with transparent acrylic panels, combining robustness, retro-futuristic aesthetics, and compactness. Powered by DC 5V, it measures 184 x 75 x 66mm and weighs 322g, making it an ideal accessory to complement a HiFi, gaming, or desktop audio setup.

Compatible with a frequency range from 80Hz to 16kHz, the VFD253 enables detailed audio signal analysis with excellent precision across every frequency band.
Its AGC (Automatic Gain Control) algorithm combined with a custom output curve automatically adapts the display to the signal level in order to avoid displays that are too weak or saturated, ensuring a balanced and pleasant visual rendering in all situations.

The VFD253 can operate from several types of audio sources. It integrates a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver for quick and easy wireless connection, a built-in microphone to capture ambient sound, as well as two 3.5mm AUX inputs to directly connect various audio sources.
