The Dayton Audio DC130A-8 is a compact and affordable woofer, designed as a non-shielded variant of the magnetically shielded DC130AS-8. Its pincushion-shaped steel basket combines rigidity and refined finish, while the treated paper cone promotes a smooth response by limiting cone breakup.
The aluminum voice coil former improves power handling and heat dissipation, while the large-diameter flat spider and suitable Xmax excursion allow clean bass reproduction. Finally, its design allows use in a sealed or bass-reflex enclosure, offering flexible integration into different types of cabinets.
