The Hypex FusionAmp FA502 is an amplifier module with integrated DSP, ideal as a design basis for an active 2-way speaker or active subwoofer. Due to the integration of SMPS power supply, DSP and Class D Ncore amplifier, the FusionAmp is one of the best solutions available for active speaker design. The on-board DSP provides excellent audio signal processing capability. The Ncore technology allows it to achieve a very low level of distortion (THD and IMD) over the entire power range.

The FA502 uses two 500W Ncore amplifiers, which can also be bridged to form a single 1000W amplifier. Numerous input options ensure compatibility with most source devices. Hypex also provides its HFD (Hypex Filter Design) software, allowing the configuration of filters for the FusionAmp.

In order to protect your speakers, the DSP does not include a basic crossover. A crossover must be configured and uploaded via the Hypex Filter Design software, before the FusionAmp can produce an output signal.
