This amplifier module is based on the LM3886TF bipolar high-performance circuit developed by National Semiconductor. This audiophile version features high-quality revised and corrected components such as Welwyn metal resistors and film capacitors. It has LM317 controllers, oversized output filtering coils. In addition, the filter capacitors are 10000 mF under 35V Nover brand.
This LM 3886 stereo is capable of delivering 2 x 68W continuous power (up to 135W peak) at a load of 4? with a distortion rate not exceeding 0.1% over the audible range of 20Hz and 20KHz.
With its thermal and electrical stability, this amplifier module is equipped with a dual system of sophisticated overvoltage protection (own SPiKe? technology) and undervoltage protection.
The latter intervenes when the power supply falls below 12V. The integrated relays provide protection for the speakers and have a timer to prevent "Plocs" on ignition.
This product offers dynamic, musical sound and good bass performance typical of the Class A/B class.
An excellent turnkey LM3886 module that will fit into any DIY project, from a simple stereo amplifier to a quality active multipli-amplifier for a reasonable price.
This LM3886TF version does not require a Mica or plastic insulator for the heatsink supplied with the module.
The driver part is on DIP 8 support allowing you to change the two mono AOPs at will. This way you can fine-tune the sound quality of your Hifi system. The free DIP slot 8 allows the use of a stereo OP amplifier instead of the other two mono on the sides.
ATTENTION! This module comes with yellow or green capacitors of 10µf 100 V but does not call into question these characteristics.
If you want to increase the quality of this amplifier you can replace the original capacitors by these models:
