Wondom AAM8 AA-AB32495 Amplifier Module Class D 2xTPA3255 2x300W 4 Ohm
The Wondom AAM8 is a stereo amplifier module in class D based on a dual Texas Instruments TPA3255 architecture, designed to deliver a continuous power of 2x300W RMS under prolonged operating conditions. This dual-core configuration increases the current reserve while stabilizing operation under high loads, thus allowing to maintain a constant output signal without interruption.
Intended for commercial and industrial integrations, it combines line and differential inputs with Mini-Fit 3.0 and PH locking connectors, ensuring both signal integrity and connection reliability in fixed installation. This approach is extended by a complete cabling supply, allowing rapid deployment while securing implementation in systems requiring robustness and continuity of operation.
Wondom AAM8: Amplification architecture and audio performance
The module is based on a dual Texas Instruments TPA3255 architecture, allowing to increase the current reserve while improving operational stability under high loads. This configuration allows a continuous power of 2x300W RMS, maintaining a constant output level without interruption during prolonged use.
The electronic design combined with an optimized PCB routing allows to reach 117dB SNR, 0.002% THD+N and a noise floor of 36µV, which translates into a usable reproduction with a low distortion level which thus allows to maintain a stable reproduction.
Wondom AAM8: Connectivity and integration
The module integrates single-ended and differential line inputs, allowing to adapt the audio interface depending on the sources while maintaining good signal integrity. The differential input limits interference over long distances, which facilitates integration in environments subject to electrical disturbances.
This approach is extended by the use of Mini-Fit 3.0 and PH locking connectors, ensuring reliable mechanical retention while reducing the risks of accidental disconnection. Compatibility with the Wondom ADP-XAI module (sold separately) also allows to extend the interface to XLR connections in professional configurations.
Wondom AAM8: Implementation and operation
The module adopts a 2-channel stereo configuration, corresponding to a use in dedicated amplification. The module accepts a power supply between 32V and 48V, allowing its integration into different existing power architectures.
The thermal dissipation combines a heat sink and active cooling, allowing to maintain a stable operating temperature even at high power. This thermal management is part of a continuous operating context, suitable for prolonged use without interruption. The use of components suited to demanding conditions allows to ensure stability over time, while the capacity of the dual TPA3255 architecture to support high loads reinforces reliability in intensive operation. In addition, protections against overvoltage, clipping and short circuits ensure a long lifespan and reduced maintenance.
Wondom AAM8: Content and deployment
The module is supplied with a complete set of cables including power connections, speaker outputs, a 3.5mm jack adapter as well as cables for differential inputs and control. Configuration jumpers complete the set, allowing to quickly adjust integration parameters.
This package allows rapid commissioning, limiting cabling operations while facilitating deployment in existing installations.
