AUNE AR9000 Headphones

The AUNE AR9000 is a high-end open-back dynamic headphone equipped with 50mm drivers and designed to deliver spacious, natural and dynamic sound reproduction. It features an Omni-Stack Carbon Diaphragm (OSCD) made of carbon fiber, as well as a Constant-Flux magnetic circuit allowing up to 4mm of linear excursion. Its open-back design and Tilted Acoustic Matrix favor a wide and precise sound presentation, while its 43Ω impedance and 102dB SPL sensitivity at 1kHz allow use with a wide variety of sources. The AR9000 features a frequency response of 4Hz to 50kHz and total harmonic distortion below 0.03% at 1kHz. It comes with a 1.6m 8-core silver-plated OCC copper cable, supplied with interchangeable terminaison 3.5mm and 6.35mm unbalanced Jack connectors, as well as 4.4mm and balanced XLR connectors, and an AuNest carrying case.

Aune AR9000: Carbon Diaphragm and 4mm Excursion

The AR9000 is based on a 50mm dynamic driver using the Omni-Stack Carbon Diaphragm (OSCD), made from continuous carbon fibers arranged in precise orientations. This diaphragm combines rigidity and low mass, while a specific thermal treatment applied to different areas helps optimize its damping. The patented Constant-Flux magnetic circuit maintains a constant driving force over a linear excursion of up to 4mm, while a highly damped suspension with radial reinforcements promotes controlled diaphragm movement. The overall design allows the headphones to achieve THD below 0.03% at 1kHz.

Aune AR9000: Open-Back Design and Tilted Acoustic Matrix

The open-back design of the AUNE AR9000 allows air and acoustic energy to flow freely through the earcups thanks to breathable grilles positioned at the front and rear of the driver. The Tilted Acoustic Matrix technology angles the drivers to direct sound toward the ears, using an approach inspired by the positioning of loudspeakers. This design aims to provide a wide soundstage and precise imaging while maintaining natural sound reproduction.

Aune AR9000: 8-Core Cable and Interchangeable Connectors

The AR9000 is supplied with a 1.6m cable consisting of 8 silver-plated OCC copper cores, combined with an interchangeable termination system allowing the headphones to be adapted to different audio configurations. The 3.5mm and 6.35mm Jack plugs provide an unbalanced connection, while the 4.4mm and XLR plugs provide a balanced connection with compatible devices. The headphones also feature a metal headband with a suspended structure and breathable earpads for a high level of comfort.
