The HiFiMAN Arya WiFi is an open-back, over-ear planar magnetic wireless headphone featuring an all-in-one design that handles signal playback, conversion, and amplification within a single system. It utilizes an R-2R Himalaya Mini DAC paired with internal amplification, enabling the processing of high-resolution audio streams up to 32bit 768kHz PCM and DSD512 while maintaining signal integrity from the source to the driver.

Designed for both stationary and advanced portable use, it combines standalone Wi-Fi streaming, Bluetooth transmission, and a USB interface, enabling direct playback without relying on an external audio system. This approach allows it to function as a built-in network player, reducing the need for intermediaries while maintaining stable playback and precise control over the driver.

The Arya WiFi features a Himalaya Mini R-2R DAC, whose discrete resistor architecture converts the signal continuously, minimizing the approximations inherent in conventional conversions and preserving the audio signal’s structure while supporting high-resolution audio up to 32bit 768kHz PCM and DSD512. This design is further enhanced by a dual-DAC configuration that provides improved channel separation.

Beyond the conversion, the direct integration of the amplifier stage allows the headphones to be powered without the need for external components, reducing the number of interfaces and associated signal losses, which results in a more consistent sound reproduction and controlled driver performance when used as a standalone or portable device.
