Thieaudio Cypher: Driver and reproduction
The Cypher is based on a 50mm dynamic driver incorporating a multi-magnet N45 magnetic circuit with 20 cores, whose stabilized flux density improves diaphragm control, allowing distortion to be reduced while maintaining good transient response. This mechanical control extends through an open-back design that reduces internal resonances, resulting in a wider soundstage and improved layer readability.
The 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response covers the entire audible spectrum, while maintaining present bass without overload, the overall balance favoring clarity rather than pressure.

With a 32Ω impedance and a sensitivity of approximately 96dB, the headphones remain easy to drive while gaining in stability when paired with dedicated amplification. This compatibility allows use with both mobile sources and DACs or headphone amplifiers.
