Viablue NF-B T8: Conductor architecture and electrical behavior

The solid internal conductor consists of fine strands of OFC copper and is surrounded by a dielectric insulating layer. The conductor and its insulation are then covered with a semi-conductive LDPE layer, followed by two counter-rotating spiral shields made of tinned copper and pure OFC copper. This arrangement forms a coaxial cable suited to the transmission of subwoofer signals.

This approach is extended by triple shielding combining the semi-conductive LDPE layer with the two copper shields, thereby limiting the signal’s exposure to electromagnetic interference. The ferrite filter reduces high-frequency electromagnetic interference present in electronic circuits, while the gold-plated T8 RCA connectors ensure stable contact pressure. The assembly is covered with a flexible braided sheath and has an external diameter of 9.5mm.
