This Pangea Premier XL Balanced XLR to XLR modulation cable is exceptionally well made. It is composed of Cardas Grade One copper strands with PE tube insulation and Al Mylar aluminium foil shielding, silver-plated braided copper and carbon-filled PE tube. The triple-layer shielding provides this cable with effective protection against RFI noise and EMI interference.
The topology of this cable is truly balanced, with three conductors plus a separate ground, rather than two conductors and a separate ground as found in falsely balanced cables. It provides a high level of transparency and detail, particularly in the high and low frequencies.
Pangea Premier XL: High-quality XLR 500 connectors
This Pangea Premier XL Balanced XLR modulation cable features high-quality XLR 500 connectors. Their contacts are gold-plated and incorporate effective polymer insulators and a high-quality locking mechanism. A black chrome plating also embellishes the connector body, which is resistant to chips and scratches.
