Updated I-Sabre TCXO V2, its architecture is designed to allow you to have all the outputs on the same side when the Raspberry Pi is coupled to the DAC.
This version 2.1 has been redesigned to simplify the connection of the OLED Wins screentar WEH001602Aand to easily integrate an external power control module (ex: PI-SPC Pre-welded ATX power control module)

Our specially designed aluminum boxes make it easy to integrate the DAC (sold separately).

This module is ideal for transforming a Raspberry Pi 2.0, A + or B + into a high-definition file player. This converter offers unbeatable value for money with direct analog outputs on high-quality headers.

Equipped with the now famous SABRE ES9023 (equipped with our U-SABRE), Ultra low noise "ON" regulator and condenser OS-CON this DAC will offer you musical sound and rich micro details.

Its high versatility (GPIO B + or A + HAT format connector (for PI) as well as I2S inputs) allows it to be also usable from a USB interface or any I2S source.

A little gem
It is an amazing DAC and not only for its price. I also have the old V2.0. Maybe the best available implementation of ES9023 with the 0.5 ppm TCXO. I am using it with an Allo Kali I2S reclocker and separated power supply for RPi, Allo Kali and I-Sabre DAC.

It is not so well known, but the ES9023 is able to run at 32bit/192kHz with miraculous sound. The moOde player with its custom kernel can feed the ES9023 with 32bit I2S data, however the libsoxr up-sampler library runs only on 28 bit internally by default in case of the Very High quality settings. High quality means only 20 bit. Unfortunately MPD doesn't allow so much configuration options for libsoxr. To overcome on this issue, you should download the latest source code of libsoxr. Change only one line in the code to allow libsoxr to run on 32 bit internally in case of Very High quality settings. Then you should compile it and replace the existing libsoxr in moOde player. The difference is really well audible.

Excellent raport qualité prix
J'ai acheté ce DAC pour me faire un RASPTouch avec une Pi3 et un contrôleur ATX avec KODI sur XBian. Configuration basique facile, est reconnue comme un DAC Hifiberry, donc quasi natif sur une Xbian.
Le son est à la hauteur, voir au delà de mes attentes. Les graves autant que les aigus sont restitués avec une grande finesse.
Je le conseille sans aucun problème. Pour ceux qui veulent moins de composants, la V3 intègre un module de contrôle d'alimentation, on pourrait donc se passer d'un contrôleur ATX...

perfect sound
It took long to decide which DAC I should buy, finally I ordered also the AUDIOPHONICS Linear Regulated Low Noise Power Supply USB 5V 3.5A 25VA and in just 5 minutes the setup was playing.
I am really surprised that a DAC can do so much in the sound on the same setup.
So the source is indeed the first important step.
At this price a big improvement over the HiFiberry DAC+ Pro
