The AURALiC team had only one idea in mind when designing the 32 bit VEGA DAC: Create the perfect DAC without the inherent defects of the current technology.
The result is up to expectations with a real attention to detail, the fruit of a long study on problems related to sampling and digital filters of the Delta Sigma 32 bit DAC.
Programmable Auralic Sanctuary and Active USB:
The AURALiC Santuary processor from AchWave in ARM9 architecture (1000MIPS) contains all the technology programmed in the Auralic Vega DAC. P>
This processor works in conjunction with the "Active USB" input, the low-level physical layer of which is completely revised by AURALiC engineers, providing a high-level proprietary solution and effective galvanic isolation.
FEMTO type clock:
The internal clock of the DAC VEGA, core of the AURALiC technology has among the lowest rates of Jitter on the market with a clock of 82 Femtoseconds. The phase noise is thus insignificant even in the highest resolutions with -168dB / hz.
This clock stabilized in shielded temperature, in a case of metal making it insensitive to all external disturbances and mechanically inert.
Several digital filtering modes for natural rendering: Strong>
6 Filtering modes make it easy to adapt the sound signature in the mediumacute. Positions 1 to 4 are designed for PCM signals with the usual conventional Apodizing and Slow Roll filters.
Mode 4 is recognized as being the most efficient with a group delay of 2.15 Femtoseconds at a frequency of 44.1Khz.
Modes 5 and 6 are entirely dedicated to digital filtering of the DSD format, resulting in a background noise of -140dB.
The result is a natural sound without the artificial side of the competing solutions thanks to an "Exact Mode" of over-sampling without pre and post echo harmful for the music.

An Orfeo analog power supply and stages designed accordingly.

To perfect the Exact Mode technology, Orfeo AURALiC fully Class A modules with very low noise comply with the work performed by the Femtoclock Exact Mode clock and the ESS ES9018s DAC.
