ES9038Q2M Dual DAC & OPA1612

At the heart of the digital/analog conversion stage are two DAC ES9038Q2M chips from ESS, a model renowned for its ability to provide a very transparent sound reproduction. To these, the DO100 associates audiophile components with for example four double OPA1612 AOP.

USB XMOS Interface

 Behind the USB-C input of the DO100, a second generation XMOS interface allows it to decode the audio stream efficiently from this input. It also offers the possibility to enjoy high definition audio files, up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512.

Low noise linear power supply

The DO100's power supply stage, which is responsible for providing a clean and stable electrical signal to the audio circuits, uses a linear power supply with many discrete components and low-noise PSUs for the analog circuits.

PCM Filter

The SMSL DO100 provides seven selectable PCM filters to modify its response curve and adapt the sound reproduction to your listening and your audio system.

  • FL1 : Fixed minimum phase fast roll-off
  • FL2 : Linear slow roll-off
  • FL3 : Apodizing filter
  • FL4 : Minimum phase fast roll-off
  • FL5 : Minimum phase slow roll-off
  • FL6 : Linear fast roll-off
  • FL7 : Brickwall mixing filter

Bluetooth 5.0

Equipped with a Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth 5.0 receiver chip, the DO100 offers the possibility of remote control, as playback can be started and managed directly from your smartphone. In addition, it supports the high-definition codecs aptX, aptX-HD and LDAC for high-quality wireless sound reproduction.

Pratique et bien équipé, au niveau de sortie réglable par télécommande, ce récepteur BT souffre d'un manque d'indication quant aux nombreux choix de qualité audio, pas facile de s'y retrouver...
La qualité est là, mais on aurait apprécié une sortie AES-EBU
