The Topping E50 II, an evolution of the E50, is a DAC that offers excellent performance thanks to meticulously selected components. It also features a number of improvements in terms of functionality compared to its little brother. The E50 II benefits from an AK4497S chip coupled with an XMOS XU316 interface, enabling it to support high-resolution sampling rates up to 32-bit 768kHz PCM and DSD512 while maintaining a THD+N of just 0.0001% and offering a dynamic range of up to 131dB. Bluetooth allows the E50 II to support high-resolution codecs up to LDAC for flawless wireless reception and superior audio quality. In addition to Bluetooth, other improvements include support for ADAT, the Topping Home app, and a 10-band PEQ function for precise sound adjustment. In terms of connectivity, it has all the essentials with several digital inputs and two analog stereo outputs, one RCA and the second a balanced 6.35mm TRS jack.
