DAC 32bit 384khz AMANERO I2S HDMI USB
Versatile, efficient, unmissable
The DAC NFB-1.28 DAC from Audio-GD is back in 2017 with the new ESS Sabre ES9028Pro chip and the Amanero latest generation USB interface.
This new edition of the NFB-1.28 DAC offers a better implementation of the Sabre offering a shorter signal path, the possibility of selecting the hardware filters, a DSD auto-detection (with switching without noise switching) an enhanced sound quality thanks to its ES9028Pro chip.
NOTFB is the acronym for "No Feedback" used by Audio-GD. This technology on the analog stages allows a great respect of the harmonics, without distortions, without digital hardness.
USB AMANERO and I2S HDMI
The built-in SABRE ES9028Pro allows you to manage 32Bit / 192kHz sources in both SPDIF and USB, and up to 384kHz in USB Amanero. In order to use the NFB-1DAC in Windows via its inpute USB-B present on the back cover, you will first need to download the Driver Amanero Combo 384 AUDIO GD:f = "http://www.audio-gd.com/Amanerodriver.rar">Amanero Combo NFB-1DAC ES9028Pro driver.
Bewitching sound reproduction
32bit / 384kHz / DSD / DXD / TCXO / HDMI
The 100% discrete design of this DAC (no PDO) goes through three stages (voltage, low pass filter, buffer) with transistors without any capacitors on the audio path, supported by a class A power supply with a fast rise time capable of provide the necessary energy.
Nover (UK) capacitors have been specially manufactured on Audio-GD specifications. The output transistors Toshiba and Hitachi have been manually paired. AUDIO GD use the best available components: Wima, Dale, ESS, Atmel.
TCXO - 100MHz
Audio-GD devices are usually equipped with standard 80MHz clocks, except this DAC Audio-GD NFB-1DAC includes the 100MHz TCXO Ultra Low Jitter option, perfectly associated with the ES9028. This TCXO (temperature compensated oscillator) clock is more accurate significantly lowering the Jitter.
SABRE ES9028PRO
This high fidelity DAC is equipped with the famous ESS ES9028Pro 32 bit / 384kHz. This conversion chipset is capable of reading High Definition formats from DSD to PCM with one of the best signal-to-noise ratios on the market (120dB real on XLR). The ACSS analog output stage, which is a feature of AUDIO GD, reduces the signal with only one buffer stage and an original Dale (USA) resistor. This shortest signal path allows the ES9028Pro to reproduce the highest levels of detail and dynamics on ESS SABRE DACs.
