The SMSL PS200 PRO is a compact and versatile DAC, designed to deliver exceptional sound quality at an affordable price. Equipped with the latest-generation ES9039Q2M DAC chip and the XMOS XU316 USB processor, this DAC supports high-resolution audio formats up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512, as well as MQA and MQA-CD decoding. Its ultra-lightweight design and CNC-machined aluminum chassis make it an ideal choice for desktop setups, gaming, or even on the go.
The PS200 PRO stands out for its ability to reproduce neutral, faithful sound, free from coloration or distortion. Thanks to its four OPA1612A operational amplifiers, dedicated clock processing circuit, and low-noise power supply, it guarantees low distortion (THD+N at 0.00009%) and a high signal-to-noise ratio (125dB), for clear and detailed listening.
This DAC offers a wide range of connectivity options: USB (UAC1/UAC2), optical, and coaxial. UAC1 mode enables plug-and-play connectivity with gaming consoles such as the PS5 or Nintendo Switch, while UAC2 mode is optimized for computers and Hi-Fi systems. Its USB-C power supply and low power consumption make it both convenient and cost-effective.

"In both case, these are two high performing DACs for little money. I am really amazed by the level of linearity achieved by these low-cost DACs.
