Dedicated FPGA and DSD128

These DACs are associated with a high-performance A3P030 FPGA, ensuring accurate reading by stabilizing the digital clock signal. The FPGA also decodes DSD64/128 audio streams, which the M9 supports in ISO, DFF and DSF formats.

Balanced and Single-ended circuit

The audio circuitry, particularly well thought out, integrates balanced and unbalanced outputs. An AOP TIP OPA1612 is used as a low-pass filter, where an AOP TI OPA1622 functions as a current buffer. Two AOP OPA1622 allow them to deliver a power of 77mW under 300Ω (balanced output).

Balanced output

The M9 is compatible with the vast majority of headphones on the market. It has both an unbalanced output on 3.5mm jack and a balanced output on 2.5mm jack. It also supports CTIA controls for the remote controls integrated in the headphones and earphones.

Note: For Apple headphones, only the Play/Pause functions of the remote controls are supported.

LG IPS Touchscreen

The front of the M9 is dressed with a beautiful 3.2" IPS touch screen from LG, capable of displaying 16 million colors and supporting 5 point multi-touch. It will allow you to easily navigate through the various menus of the DAP.

Hi-Res Audio

The M9 is Hi-Res Audio certified by the Japan Audio Society. This label is awarded to devices capable of delivering a sound quality superior to that of CD, and therefore supporting, at least, files encoded in 24bit.
