The Shanling Onix Tocata XM2 is based on an 8-channel Cirrus Logic CS4308P chip, designed to ensure high-precision digital-to-analogue conversion. Compatible with 32bit 768kHz PCM and DSD512, it guarantees extensive support for high-resolution streams, allowing you to enjoy even the most demanding libraries without intermediate conversion.

Shanling also incorporates a proprietary Brighton I/V conversion architecture, developed around two OPA1612s, to ensure linear and stable current-to-voltage conversion. Upstream, an FPGA combined with a dedicated dual crystal oscillator stabilises the digital clock and reduces jitter, thereby preserving temporal accuracy and transient clarity.
