DAC ESS ES9038Q2M

This complete DAC module is equipped with an excellent latest generation ESS ES9038Q2M chip. This provides high quality Digital / Analog conversion, providing dynamic and detailed sound. In addition, it supports high sampling rates for the delight of audiophiles, up to 32bit 192kHz in PCM and up to DSD256.

Components serving the sound

The DAC is here supported by components of very good quality. Note the presence of a low noise OPA NJM5532DD on DIP8, two LM317T voltage regulators and an LDO LT1963 for a stable current, a 100Mhz clock to lower the jitter and excellent ELNA filter capacitors. What ensure a sound reproduction of high quality.

The OPA being mounted on DIP8 it can be replaced by you by a more efficient model, such as theOPA1622.

Simple but effective connectivity

This ES9038Q2M module offers an I2S (5 pins, Cable supplied) input, a resolutely audiophile protocol separating clocks from data and providing the signal with a short path. In output, one will find simply a Stereo RCA and a Jack 3.5mm.
