Wondom JAB3-160 AA-JA31211 Amplifier Module Class D Mono with DSP 1x60W 4 Ohm
The Wondom JAB3-160 is an all-in-one Class D mono amplifier module based on a TPA3118 chip capable of delivering 60W of power into a 4Ω load. It also features a high-performance ADAU1701 DSP, making it suitable for use in a variety of DIY, commercial, and industrial audio applications. When connected to a Wondom programmer from the ICP series (sold separately), the JAB3 supports programming via SigmaStudio or control via a PC user interface.
JAB3 modules have obtained CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications, ensuring their compliance with rigorous safety, performance, and environmental standards. These certifications confirm their compliance with European and U.S. regulations as well as restrictions on hazardous substances, making them suitable and reliable products for a wide range of applications.
Wondom JAB3-160: Integrated ADAU1701 DSP & SigmaStudio Support
The fully programmable 28/56-bit ADAU1701 audio DSP from Analog Devices, integrated into the module, delivers high performance across a wide range of signal processing applications. This processing compensates for the inherent limitations of speakers, amplifiers, and listening environments, resulting in a dramatic improvement in perceived audio quality.
The JAB3 features four built-in potentiometers that allow for real-time hardware control of the entire audio system: volume, gain, and high-pass/band-pass filters.
Thanks to its built-in ADAU1701 DSP, the JAB3 supports multiple control methods. The JAB3 is equipped with four built-in knobs for adjusting volume and frequency. When connected to a WONDOM ICP series programmer (sold separately), the JAB3 supports programming via SigmaStudio. When connected to the programmer, the JAB3 supports control via the PC user interface.
The Miumax UI programming interface is available for free on the Wondom website.
Wondom JAB3-160: High-quality audio
Thanks to meticulous PCB design and rigorous debugging by our engineers, this Wondom JAB3-160 audio amplifier board delivers exceptional audio performance, with a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 88dB and a total harmonic distortion plus noise (THD+N) of just 0.03% at 4Ω, 1W, 200Hz.
Wondom JAB3-160: Low power consumption, extended battery life
The JAB3 incorporates a power management system and a signal level detection system to reduce power consumption. Wondom has set a threshold for the signal input voltage. If no signal is detected for 5 minutes, the JAB3 automatically switches to standby mode.
The JAB3-160 audio module consumes only 150mW in standby mode. This extremely low power consumption ensures long playback time, especially when the JAB3-160 is powered by battery modules, which is a clear advantage for portable Bluetooth speakers.
Wondom JAB3-160: Battery power supply support
A power supply of 10 to 26 V DC is required to power the JAB3-160. In addition to AC power, the JAB3 also supports battery power, which significantly improves the portability and flexibility of audio systems (battery power module sold separately).
Please note that the JAB3 does not include an MPPT circuit. Therefore, it cannot be used to charge batteries. If you purchase only the JAB3 and wish to have a portable battery power supply, we recommend using the Wondom battery charging, protection, and balancing board from the BCPB series (sold separately).
