MINIDSP FLEX HT
Audio DSP Processor 2x8 Channels SHARC ADSP21489 WiSA XMOS HDMI ARC eARC
The miniDSP Flex HT is part of the miniDSP Flex range of advanced audio processors. This device is a 2x8-channel, multi-channel DSP processor featuring an HDMI ARC/eARC input. The miniDSP Flex HT features a complete suite of audio processing functions: bass management, parametric equalizers, crossover, advanced biquad programming and delay/gain controls.
With multiple digital inputs and eight unbalanced analog output channels, the miniDSP Flex HT can support active loudspeakers with up to four stereo channels. Flexible 2x8 signal routing allows many other configurations, such as two-way, three-way and multiple subwoofers.
The Flex HT features stereo digital inputs in USB-B, coaxial and Toslink optical formats. The HDMI ARC/eARC and USB inputs support 8 channels of linear PCM. A front-panel OLED display and volume control knob provide easy control of the device. Settings can be easily modified using Stereo Dirac Live® acoustic correction software (DIRAC license not included, but available here).
The analog RCA output stage boasts excellent performance, with a THD+N of just 0.0003%.
This device is the perfect solution for users looking for an audio processor for a home-cinema or multi-channel Hi-Fi installation.
Please note that Flex HT does not support bitstream decoding (e.g. Dolby/DTS). The audio source must be capable of producing linear PCM (LPCM) for multichannel support via HDMI.
WiSA HT wireless transmission technology
The FLEX HT features the new WiSA (Wireless Speaker and Audio Association) wireless transmission technology. It enables wireless transmission of digital audio from a source to wireless speakers, with up to 8 channels at 24bit 96KHz. This technological solution is specifically designed for low-latency multichannel audio. Please note that your speakers/subwoofer must be WiSA-compatible to use this technology.
