DAYTON AUDIO DAEX19SL-4 Exciter

The Dayton Audio DAEX19SL-4 is a 19mm audio exciter designed to turn almost any lightweight rigid surface into a speaker. Its 33mm diameter and 6.5mm height allow it to be installed in tight spaces, particularly on toys, signs, cabinet doors or windows. Its dual suspension ensures linear operation and reduces distortion.

Its neodymium magnet increases the magnetic flux around the voice coil, which reduces power requirements and allows the use of small Class D amplifiers. The preapplied 3M VHB adhesive allows quick and durable mounting, while the two solder points on the printed circuit board keep the installation compact. It offers a power handling of 4W RMS at 4 Ohm and a resonant frequency of 630Hz. Its frequency response and sensitivity depend on the surface on which it is installed.
