This EX32HDRS-4 exciter from Dayton Audio is an alternative to conventional loudspeakers, in fact it is capable of effectively sounding many different types of space. The exciter is part of the IMS™ range, and therefore features the brand's quick-fix and interchangeable technology: EX2HMP-5 IMS™. This exciter accepts 30Wrms of power at 4 ohms, and is capable of transforming a wide range of surfaces into loudspeakers.
This exciter enables you to reproduce a sound signal on all kinds of surfaces. It features a neodymium magnet used to create a magnetic flux around its coil, giving it increased sensitivity despite its small size. Its 1" coil and cooling vents increase input power for high-output applications, and enable it to have a small form factor.


Dayton Audio's IMS™ mounting system allows you to easily test many configurations. Each exciter has a thread in order to mount on the EX2HMP-5IMS™ supports supplied with the exciter. This support can be installed on a surface using two screws through the holes provided, or via 3M adhesive. To finalize your mounting, simply screw the vibrator to its support.
