DAYTON AUDIO HDN-8B Speaker Driver Exciter

The Dayton Audio HDN-8B will add a dynamic sound source to almost any surface or object. Exciter technology offers a universal and cost-effective alternative to conventional drivers, enabling sound reproduction virtually anywhere. Issues such as weather conditions, space constraints, vandalism, or visibility can be avoided or minimised through the use of exciters. Exciters can be used in a wide range of DIY applications.

The latter has been specifically developed to create audio systems concealed in walls, ceilings, floors or screens. Its 50W RMS power output at 8Ω allows for high efficiency with just a few transducers. Its sealed design allows it to be installed indoors or outdoors, even in damp or wet areas such as terraces or showers. It is equipped with a single M5 threaded mounting rod that can be easily attached to acrylic, fibreglass or metal (mounting hardware included).
