Convenient connector

The connector is equipped with screw terminals, allowing quick and easy assembly of cables, not requiring soldering. A simple cross-head screwdriver is enough to fix your cables on the 3 contacts of the connector.

Smart design

The connector design maximizes the contact rate with a clamp and spring system for optimum conductivity. It also allows a firm and reliable fixing of the cables.

Strong handle

The back of the connector benefits from a cable clamp adaptable according to the diameter used. This holds the cable securely in place to protect it during handling. The connector accepts cables with a maximum diameter of 16mm and a cross-section of 10 to 16AWG.

Cryo treatment

This Wattgate connector benefits from the Cryo treatment developed by the brand, the Deep Cryogenic Treatment (DCT) method. This is a cryogenic treatment with nitrogen that must follow a very specific cycle in order to increase conductivity. In this method, the brand takes care never to put in direct contact the part treated with nitrogen in order to avoid thermal shocks. This process takes 4 to 5 days to achieve an exceptional result.

Je trouve cette IEC d'un bon rapport qualité prix, le système de serrage du cable est tout à fait pertinent et fiable, moins bon pour le serrage des deux parties de la fiche par contre qu'on a du mal à visser jusqu'au bout, bon tourne vie et poigne de rigeur, bien sûr les Furutech gardent l'avantage de la qualité de fabrication qui a un cran d'avance, mais la wattgate fait de ce côté aussi bien qu'une Yarbo ou Elecaudio, avec un petit plus à l'écoute et un excellent système de serrage des cables. Le laiton réussit bien aux fiches secteur je trouve, et dans cette version cryo la définition y gagne. En comparaison la Furutech cuivre donne un rendu fluide mais moins ouvert.

Connecteur iec bonne dans l ensemble ,mais qualiter de finition et d utilisation inferieure a une yarbo ou furutech ,pour le prix une yarbo fera largement l affaire.
