are in-ear headphones with dual dynamic transducers designed to ensure precise mechanical distribution of the audio spectrum. They deliver extended, controlled reproduction, relying on a beryllium and titanium plated diaphragm architecture combined with polyurethane suspensions to maintain stable tonal consistency while controlling distortion across the entire frequency range.

Tanchjim Force: Dynamic dual driver

The Tanchjim Force is based on a dynamic dual driver architecture designed to distribute mechanical and acoustic loads across distinct frequency ranges. The 8.2mm transducer, dedicated to mid and high frequencies, incorporates a beryllium-coated diaphragm combined with a PU suspension, a choice that combines high rigidity and low mass to preserve transient accuracy while ensuring controlled extension in the high frequencies. This approach is extended by a second 10mm driver, responsible for the bass register, whose titanium-plated diaphragm limits parasitic vibrations during high excursions, thereby reducing distortion while maintaining a stable foundation in the low frequencies. The polyurethane suspension, common to both transducers, allows for extended excursion, directly contributing to increased dynamics without breaking the coherence between the registers.

Tanchjim Force: Frequency response

The tonal tuning of Tanchjim Force is based on finite element analysis (FEA) modelling, used to simulate several ear canal morphologies and anticipate their interaction with actual acoustic reproduction. This design phase allows the frequency response and separation of the speakers to be adjusted using an HPFD-Seg crossover, characterised by a segmented approach to frequency division. By limiting excessive overlap areas and associated phase shifts, this architecture results in a balanced and consistent sound, with a total harmonic distortion of 0.036%.

Tanchjim Force: Open-back acoustic chamber

The Tanchjim Force design incorporates an open-back acoustic chamber, aimed at reducing signal degradation caused by sound waves rebounding off the rear of the transducers. By promoting more controlled dissipation of acoustic energy, this architecture helps to limit distortion while opening up the soundstage. This approach also results in better extension in the high frequencies, achieved without artificial accentuation.

Tanchjim Force: Ergonomics

Designed for extended use, Tanchjim Force earphones feature a geometry that aligns directly with the ear canal, ensuring natural insertion and constant stability. This design is complemented by an optimised centre of gravity, distributing the weight of the earphone evenly to reduce pressure points. The result is a comfortable fit over time, while maintaining precise positioning of the transducers in relation to the ear canal.

Tanchjim Force: High-quality cable

The earphones come with a silver-plated UPOCC copper cable, designed to preserve signal integrity while offering mechanical flexibility suitable for everyday use. Its interchangeable 3.5mm jack, 4.4mm jack and USB-C connectors allow the Tanchjim Force to be adapted to different listening environments, whether stationary or on the move.

Tanchjim Force: Tanchjim application

When using the USB-C connector, the cable incorporates a DSP that provides access to the Tanchjim application, allowing you to modify and import custom equalisation curves. This feature extends the original tuning work through an iterative approach, allowing fine-tuning of the sound signature according to user preferences or source constraints, while maintaining stable and controlled reproduction.
