TANCHJIM OLA II In-Ear Monitors IEM

The TANCHJIM OLA II are hybrid in-ear monitors combining a 10mm DMT 5 dynamic driver with a dual magnetic circuit and dual acoustic chamber with a PURE Hi balanced armature dedicated to very high frequencies, using a coaxial hybrid acoustic architecture that promotes coherent reproduction from bass to treble.

The OLA II feature a total harmonic distortion of just 0.03% at 1kHz / 94dB, an impedance of 30 Ω ±10%, a sensitivity of 121dB/Vrms and an extended frequency response from 8Hz to 48kHz. Its internal acoustic chamber, optimized through simulation, promotes more accurate reproduction of transients and musical details, while its ergonomic design was developed using artificial ear data and more than 3000 ear-shape samples to optimize the nozzle angle, shell curvature, contact points and weight distribution. An external vent structure also helps limit pressure buildup.

The detachable cable uses silver-plated copper Litz conductors, arranged in a twisted structure, and connects to the earphones via 0.78mm 2-Pin connectors. The USB-C version features a microphone for calls as well as DSP-Master signal processing controllable via the TANCHJIM app, with an 8-band parametric equalizer (PEQ) allowing precise adjustment of the center frequency, gain and Q factor. The app also provides access to official sound presets as well as a community for sharing presets to further customize the sound reproduction.

The OLA II are therefore designed to provide detailed reproduction, low distortion and good coherence between different frequency ranges, while maintaining a format suitable for extended listening sessions.
