This small Class D Aiyima A07 MAX amplifier offers stereo as well as mono operation, so you can chain several A07 amplifiers together for extra power. This amplifier embeds a TI TPA3255 amplifier chip and is capable of developing a power of 2x225W @ 4Ω in stereo or 1x450W @ 4Ω in mono. Its NE5532 OPAs are DIP8 mounted and therefore easily replaceable (AOP OPA2604AP, OPA2134, MUSEO1/02/03, LME49720NA, LM4562, AD827AQ, etc). High-quality internal components, such as WIMA and Rubycon capacitors and a TI364 power management chip, ensure excellent performance. Connectivity features the essentials: RCA line input, speaker terminals and AUX output on 3.5mm jack. The AUX output can be used to connect an additional amplifier in mono mode, or an active subwoofer.
Inside the Aiyima A07 MAX is a TI TPA3255 chip coupled to NE5532 DIP8-mounted AOPs. This is what enables it to develop its high power output, as well as an SNR ≥ 110dB and a THD of 0.007%.
To activate mono mode, simply flip a switch on the underside of the unit. Mono output is then routed to the upper speaker terminals. Several configurations are possible with this feature: stereo mode, single mono mode and multi-device mono mode.
