Ampapa D1 Amplifier Class D TPA3255 Bluetooth 5.2 with VU Meter 2x120W 4Ωr
The Ampapa D1 is a Class D stereo integrated amplifier designed to power passive speakers. Its PA3255 amplifier chip allows it to deliver 2x 120W into 4Ω using a PFFB (Post Filter Feedback) architecture. It also features an adjustable high-pass filter, a pre-out output, and NE5532 op-amps mounted on replaceable DIP8 sockets.
Designed for 2.1 systems, the Ampapa D1 features a display with digital VU meters, a balanced 6.35mm TRS jack input, Bluetooth 5.2 reception, and bass/treble controls.
It is also worth noting that the D1 is compatible with the Ampapa A1 (sold separately), with which it is designed to be used in a configuration incorporating a vinyl turntable.
Ampapa D1: Connectivity and system integration
The connectivity is functional thanks to its two speaker outputs and pre-out output, allowing for easy integration into a 2.1 system. In addition, its single-ended RCA input, balanced Jack 6.35mm TRS input, and Bluetooth 5.2 reception allow for the simultaneous connection of multiple sources. The 12V trigger input allows for synchronized power-up with other elements of the system. The high-pass filter allows control over low frequencies ranging from 30 to 200Hz.
Ampapa D1: Amplification and preamplification stage
The amplification stage is based on a combination of the TPA3255 chip for power conversion and a NE5532 operational amplifier. This architecture allows for a maximum output power of 2x120W into 4Ω and 2x 102W into 8Ω. In addition, via its removable glass panel, the D1 allow for replacement of the two NE5532 op-amps mounted on DIP8 with any other compatible op-amp such as the 2604 / 2134 or MUSES02.
Ampapa D1: A retro design
The D1's OLED screen offers both a classic and practical design, with eight different styles (blue, yellow, black), allowing you to see all operations and playback information in real time. Each mode can be accessed via the remote control. In addition, the Ampapa D1 has a removable glass window on the top through which a customizable RGB light shines.
