Dayton Audio's A400 amplifier offers class AB symmetrical amplification with a power of 300W per channel or 500W in mono if bridged. All of this is housed in a sober chassis with exemplary cooling, and is accompanied by a host of features enabling this amplifier to find its place in a wide range of configurations.

Built with a well-ventilated chassis, the A400 amplifier stays cool even during extended listening sessions. The unique symmetrical circuit design and transformer location allow for highly efficient heat dissipation cooling, so there's no need for noisy fans.
Dayton Audio A400 : Powerful, distortion-free amplification
Dayton Audio's A400 benefits from a class AB symmetrical structure offering a signal-to-noise ratio of 103dB and a total harmonic distortion rate of just 0.05%, while delivering 300W output power per channel into 4 Ω. Furthermore, for more power-hungry applications, the A400 can be bridged to deliver 500W output power at 8 Ω in mono.

The A400 amplifier allows you to switch seamlessly between balanced and unbalanced inputs at the flick of a switch. So whether you prefer the conveniency of RCA cables or the balanced signal quality of XLR, the A400 can meet your needs. The 12V trigger input and output mean that this amplifier can be easily integrated into a home cinema system. Moreover, in configurations of this type, the LED light on the front panel can be a nuisance, which is why it can be turned off via a switch on the back of the unit.
