Jantzen Audio's Amber Z-Cap capacitors are made from pure copper foil of the highest quality. They have been specially designed for the tweeter section of crossover filters for passive HiFi loudspeakers. They are also ideal for use in the midrange. Amber Z-Caps are designed to deliver a more neutral sound reproduction, with an excellent balance between midrange and treble.
Key features:
Due to the Amber Z-Cap's max voltage of 200V DC, a certain amount of caution is required when using it with tubes or power amplifiers. For upgrading coupling capacitors in power amplifiers, we recommend the Superior Z-Cap or Silver Z-Cap ranges.
