Jantzen Audio Amber Z-Cap

Jantzen Audio's Amber Z-Cap capacitors are made from pure copper foil of the highest quality. They have been specially designed for the tweeter section of crossover filters for passive HiFi loudspeakers. They are also ideal for use in the midrange. Amber Z-Caps are designed to deliver a more neutral sound reproduction, with an excellent balance between midrange and treble.

Key features:

  • Highly reactive capacitor.
  • Ultra-fine dielectric insulation to eliminate memory effect in the capacitor.
  • Extremely low ESR, ESL, inductance and dielectric absorption.
  • High-quality pure copper foil wound on high-precision machines.
  • Capacitor center reinforced with small steel balls for even greater stability and shape.
  • Very low distortion.
  • Specifically designed for the tweeter and midrange sections of passive loudspeaker crossovers.
  • Can also be used as a coupling capacitor for transistor amplifiers.

Due to the Amber Z-Cap's max voltage of 200V DC, a certain amount of caution is required when using it with tubes or power amplifiers. For upgrading coupling capacitors in power amplifiers, we recommend the Superior Z-Cap or Silver Z-Cap ranges.

Beautiful match with Fostex
Monté sur Fostex FT17H pour la rénovation d'une paire de Gange BC acoustique. Il n'y a plus de dureté comme je l'espérais. La différence avec les superior Z cap montés en essai est énorme. Les aigus sont chatoyant, la spatialité est immense. Tout est intelligible à un niveau que je ne connaissais pas. Je trouve aussi, maintenant,le registre grave et les percussions plus convainquants. Pour comparer avec des alumen Z Cap utilisés sur des projets précédent ces condos ci apportent en plus une amélioration évidente de la scène sonore.
