The Jantzen Audio Cross-Cap MKP capacitors are considered to offer the best value for money in passive crossover design for loudspeakers. Made in Europe, this new competitor to the German, French and British references boasts a very high design quality. They are ideal for correction in parallel RL and RLC ‘plug’ circuits, in place of low-quality electrochemical capacitors.

The structure of these MKP capacitors is worthy of higher-end products, consisting of metallized polypropylene (ZnAl) film windings, all covered with epoxy resin to hold the body together. The wires are made of tinned 4N copper. The parameters of these capacitors have a tolerance of 5% to the European standard IEC 384-16. These capacitors produce a sound without any particular coloration and offer a great reduction in distortion.
