Wax Coil Filter Jantzen Audio


A true vintage treasure, this coil by Jantzen is made from 99.9998% pure Copper 12AWG ribbons hardened by a polymolecular paraffin wax. The latter has been developed by Jantzen Audio so as to prevent any air pockets in-between and to allow a higher tolerance. The result is a rock-hard and vibration-free coil. Each coil is individually tested with the Clio system.

Impressed with fast deliver, great product.
The sound is quite good, slightly better than the Jantzen 14awg wax paper foil inductor coils I have used a couple times in the past. I use these in Klipsch type B-2 crossovers along with Jantzen Superior Z caps-Jantzen Audio Power Cross-caps. After just a few hours break-in, better sound than the expected.

Seamless transition
Best inductors ever used in my horn speakers crossover. The most characteristic advantage of these woofer coils is a a really smooth transition between the woofer and the squawker.
