DAYTON AUDIO SDA315A-88 Speaker Driver Subwoofer

The Dayton Audio SD315A-88 is a 30.48cm (12") woofer with dual 8 ohm voice coils, designed for subwoofer systems seeking solid extension in the low end with a power handling of 120 W RMS and 240 W maximum.

Its polypropylene-coated paper cone, combined with a long-life rubber surround, high excursion and long-throw construction, allows a stable reproduction in the first octave, in sealed as well as bass-reflex enclosures. The vented pole pieces and the raised back plate improve cooling of the motor, while the two voice coils allow adapting the wiring and overall impedance according to the chosen configuration. Its gasketless front favors a clean integration, suited to affordable bass builds requiring substantial air displacement.
