Le LD150CR04, a high performance midbass of Ø 15cm
The LD150CR04 from Atohm is a low midrange speaker. It has been designed to produce high quality 2-way systems. Its membrane is made of a specific alloy with a peripheral suspension featuring LDS (Low Diffraction Surrounding) technology. This one is characterized by a particular profile, offering a progressive splitting of the suspension at medium frequencies.
The motor benefits from FWI (Force Without Inductance) technology. This loudspeaker offers an optimized design in order to obtain a wide and symmetrical force factor. Its core is covered with a copper ring that largely limits the creation of induced currents in polar parts. This reduces and linearizes the inductance value of the winding and thus reduces distortion by odd harmonics and intermodulation, as well as a more linear and wider bandwidth.
