LHY AUDIO AS8 Pro Network Switch Silver

LHY Audio offers us their AS8 Pro network switch. The switch includes 6 RJ45 Ethernet ports, 2 SFP fibre optic ports and an input and output connected to the 10MHz OCXO clock. Everything is housed in an elegant anodised aluminium case machined from a single piece of material to limit resonance, and designed to separate data processing, audio signal processing, the internal clock and the power supply stage.

LHY Audio AS8 Pro: A noise-free, stable power supply

The AS8 Pro deploys two 50VA transformers for a regulated linear power supply coupled with an RFI suppression filter. Once transformed, the current passes through a low-drop multi-stage voltage regulator and voltage rectifier to ensure the cleanest possible power supply.

LHY Audio AS8 Pro: An OCXO master clock at the heart of everything

In terms of signal processing, the LHY Audio AS8 Pro offers 6 RJ45 ports, two of which are digitally isolated, and two optical SFP ports, one of which is also digitally isolated. But that's not all: the AS8 Pro has a 10MHz OCXO clock at its heart, itself connected to a BNC input and output. You can use this network switch as a master clock to synchronise other external sources or simply resynchronise the input signal. Finally, the OCXO clock is coupled to a PLL phase-locked loop.
