Dayton Audio RSS210-PR Passive Radiator Aluminum Ø20.32cm
This RSS210-PR passive radiator from Dayton Audio is ideal for a DIY subwoofer project in combination with an active speaker. It features a thick black anodised aluminium cone and a rigid cast aluminium frame. This speaker is therefore aesthetically similar to the brand's reference series of subwoofers. Its design incorporates an SMS (Sandwich Mass System) for greater linearity by minimising angular torque. Weighted discs are included for simple and effective adjustment of this passive radiator.
The RSS210-PR passive radiator is useful for enjoying deeper, richer sound in the low frequencies. It extends the bandwidth of a speaker and gives your active speakers a boost, allowing them to venture more easily into the bass range.
