AIYIMA A20 Mono Class D Amplifier TPA3255 200W 4 ohm
The Aiyima A20 is a mono power amplifier based on a TPA3255 chip, designed to drive a dedicated channel with power output up to 200W into 4Ω at 1% THD. Its PFFB Feedback architecture reduces output impedance and improves response linearity, in order to maintain consistent behavior with different loads.
Intended for stereo Hi-Fi configurations, multichannel systems or subwoofer amplification, it combines adjustable gain, an 80Hz high-pass filter and a 12V trigger input to facilitate its integration. Its aluminum chassis ensures passive heat dissipation, while the front-panel VU meter allows the signal activity to be monitored.
Aiyima A20: 200W mono amplification
The Aiyima A20 is a mono power amplifier based on a TPA3255 chip, designed to drive a single speaker or a subwoofer at a high power level. It delivers up to 200W into 4Ω with a distortion rate of 1% THD, while power can reach 300 W into 4Ω at 10% THD. This design allows a dedicated module to be used per channel in a stereo configuration, or the amplifier to be reserved for bass reproduction.
Aiyima A20: PFFB design
The amplification stage uses a PFFB (Post Filter Feedback) loop that controls the signal after the output filter. This architecture reduces output impedance and thus limits the influence of the LC filter on the behavior of the amplifier and the speaker. Linearity remains better controlled across the entire frequency range, which allows a more consistent response to be maintained with different loads.
Aiyima A20: Versatile device
The A20 features a two-level gain setting, with a selection between 19dB and 25dB, in order to adapt its sensitivity to the source and the output level of the preamplifier. Its 80Hz high-pass filter allows the low frequencies to be removed from the amplifier and facilitates its pairing with a system already equipped with a subwoofer. The 12V trigger input additionally ensures automatic synchronization of its power-on with a preamplifier, a DAC or another compatible Hi-Fi device.
Aiyima A20: Aluminum chassis and VU meter
The aluminum chassis protects the internal circuits while contributing to the passive dissipation of the heat produced by the power stage. This construction promotes more stable operation when the amplifier is driven with 4Ω loads. On the front panel, the VU meter provides a visual indication of the audio signal activity, adding an immediate monitoring function without altering the signal path.
