The Dayton Audio SA1000 1X950W over 4Ohm is a high power subwoofer amplifier designed for the DIY enthusiast, installer and integrator of home theater systems.

This unique monaural subwoofer amplifier offers the raw power of a professional Hifi sound amplifier with the functionality and flexibility of a dedicated subwoofer amplifier. It can be configured to be stacked with other audio components. It includes removable parts for mounting in standard racks (2RU).

The Class AB output stage provides a clean and controlled output signal. From a performance point of view, the simple and effective PEQ and filter cutoff settings adapt the sound to your room environment.

Sophisticated circuitry with "soft clipping" protection provides cleaner transient peaks, while protecting your woofer from excessive travel with a switchable subsonic filter that suppresses information through a high-pass filter in the low frequencies (25Hz/20Hz).

4 position Bass-Boost adjusts to the frequency response without using the parametric EQ. This leaves the parametric EQ function to handle room modes on a too strong resonance peak (pressure effect or bass depression at a given location).
