IAN CANADA SHIELDPI PRO MKIII Multifunction Board EMI Shielding / Power Supply Filter for Raspberry Pi
Ian Canada's ShieldPi Pro MKIII is not only a universal EMI shielding module for Raspberry Pi, but also a high performance power supply filter, ON/OFF control button and GPIO extender/multiplier. The IR remote control function can also be implemented if the module is used with a MonitorPi (sold separately).
The ShieldPi Pro card is suitable for all Raspberry Pi applications to reduce both EMI and power supply noise. Installation is extremely simple using the GPIO connector.
Key features :
- Single point zero current grounding shield plate to eliminate EMI noise from the Raspberry Pi.
- 5V power supply filter networks with high bandwidth and very low ESR, covering a wide frequency range.
ESR : 2mΩ @ 200kHz, 0.3mΩ @ 2MHz, 1mΩ @ 20MHz, 4mΩ @ 200MHz - pins GPIO extension.
- 40 pins GPIO multiplier (AUX GPIO).
- Has an ON/OFF button for Raspberry Pi and a connector for external button.
- Possibility to implement the IR remote control function of the Raspberry Pi when integrated with MonitorPi (sold separately).
- Reduces both EMI and power supply noise.
- Improves the performance of Raspberry Pi based systems.
Ian Canada ShieldPi Pro: New features in MKIII version
- Built-in ultra-low noise 3.3V/500mA power supply, capable of powering FifoPi, DAC or other devices without using additional 3.3V power supply
- Optical receiver makes IR remote controller working for Raspberry Pi
- 5V input/output connector can power a RaspberryPi directly from GPIO with bypassing the USB power input.
