High-Fidelity Passive / Active Preamplifier Balanced Takman REX OPA2134 Black
This beautifully crafted Hattor Audio passive/active preamplifier features two high precision attenuators with Takman REX AMRT carbon film resistors, ensuring very low distortion for pure and transparent sound reproduction. It offers the latest refinement in high-end preamplification.
Both a passive preamplifier and a input selector with generous connectivity - two RCA and three XLR inputs as well as two RCA and two XLR outputs - this impeccably finished, hand-assembled unit is a great addition to any ambitious hi-fi setup.
This model also integrates an active buffer using two OPA2134 and is equipped with a separate gain section. This active stage can be activated or not via the remote control supplied with the unit and offers three gain levels: +3dB, +6dB and +9dB.
Takman REX AMRT resistors
CMC and Neutrik 24k PTFE gold plated connectors and silver wire cabling allow the Hattor Audio preamplifier to compete with the best high-end products on the market. The attenuation stage here is equipped with individually tested 64-position ultra-low distortion Takman REX AMRT resistors with solid gold tracks and constant impedance inputs.
Each passive mono attenuator is equipped with an insulated aluminum shielding to guarantee optimal channel separation for very low crosstalk. Purists of perfect correction as well as experimenters will appreciate the two dissociable potentiometers allowing to control the left or right channel separately - or conversely - to couple them with an individual level per channel.
The flexibility of its operation, its outputs, its internal design and the quality of its components make the Hattor Audio a high performance device for the most demanding ears.
