Powerful combination
The Wiim Ultra Streamer has all the bells and whistles in terms of connecting TV's, Record Player and all the streaming services. Not only that but pretty powerful room correction, which can help with sound in problematic rooms. Super cool!
The HDMI ARC input works really well, even with my older LG TV. Wiim device turns on very quickly and starts outputting to the Amp.
The Audiophonics NCoreX Amp in this combo really has a lot of raw power. The Amp plays my Quad Z2 with authority and at 84 dB sensitivity they are not the easiest to drive.
The only complaint I would have for this combo is the 30 cm short cables. This way you have to stack the devices on top of each other. They cannot stand side by side, because the trigger cable socket is on one side of the Amp while the signal inputs are on the other side. So they are just shy from being able to put the Amp and Wiim next to each other. Not the end of the world as I have plenty of other cables in the drawer, but good to know for other buyers.
I do not regret at all buying this set.
