Sur ce créneau tarifaire et si on fait le compte de la techno embarquée, de la qualité de conception et des possibilités DAC/ Ampli casque, cet appareil largue toute concurrence.

Il faut cependant prendre en compte l'orientation analytique un peu sèche. Avec un Beyer DT 900 Pro la matière et la définition sont somptueuses mais épuisantes.

Fonctionne de manière superbe avec un HE-500 et un LCD-2 Closed Back. Il y a peut-être une piste pour une certaine apétence pour les orthos ?

Sur un Koss ESP 950 en mode DAC, ça manque un peu d'ampleur et de maitrise mais sans doute aussi bon voire certainement meilleur qu'avec n'importe quel autre DAC à prix équivalent.

Très bon DAC et rapport qualité/prix
Voulant autre chose que le son sortant du Jack mon écran PC (venant lui-même de l'HDMI de ma carte graphique) par qui effaçait les basses et aiguës, j'ai voulu prendre de suite du durable avec un bon rapport qualité/prix pour mon casque Fidelio X2HR et futur upgrade(s). (bientôt un Hifiman XS probablement)
Eh bien là le son est parfaitement neutre en sortie de prise Jack (confirmé par des tests de par exemple Audio Science Review), enfin des basses et aiguës appréciables !
Le tout sans avoir besoin d'installer un pilote sur Windows 10 (et 11), même s'il faut aller dans les paramètres Windows pour aller au-delà du 44,1-48000Hz en 16 bits.
Avec la télécommande on peut régler certaines choses notamment que les LEDs oranges s'éteignent au bout de 30 secondes sans toucher/changer de paramètres, rendant l'appareil encore plus sobre et adaptable au look de son bureau ou setup.

Not the best DAC preamplifier & headphone amplifier on the planet, but excellent value for money!
I was more than a little bit surprised as to how good this unit sounded - especially after adding an Audiophonics linear PSU. With the standard switch-mode PSU supplied, the unit had the tendency to sound slightly thin & edgy, but the linear PSU addressed both of those minor concerns. Quite frankly, this level of performance would have cost in the region of €1,000 10-years ago! Yes, the remote is very critical of direction and the headphone socket is only 3.5mm, but these are minor observations and not real concerns. The automatic display mode is beneficial for late night listening.

Acheté il y a 1 an, ce petit boitier a remplacé mon ampli casque à tubes(6v6) + ampli tubes(el34)+Dac (DIY) et ainsi j'ai redécouvert des cd ou musique dématérialisée, mes différents casque Grado me disent merci. Sur mon systeme audio principal le résultat est moins bluffant, une légère tendance de surbrillace de l'aigu, Mais dans l'absolu ce Topping remet en cause mes 50 ans d'audiophile et d'écoutes de matériels qui ferait rêver plus d'un...
Donc un grand merci à votre équipe qui a su m'accompagner et conseiller pour mon achat il y a 1 an ...
PS: Le DX3+ fonctionne toujours sans aucun bug et l'installation sur plusieurs PC et Mac s'est toujours fait sans problème de pilotes ou de compabilité.

Ordered this with a Sundara, also using it with an AKG K7XX.

It is very practical, like the remote, i dont even have to touch the thing.

Had some trouble with losing signal, but a PC reinstall solved it, it is also compatible with Win 11, plug&play.

The volume knob is very loud clicky, but since I use the remote, not a problem.

I also have my active speakers connected to its RCA out, and my favorite feature is by far the 1 button switch from headphone to speakers and back, dont have to plug in/out anything anymore, or change output devices in the PC, just 1 push of a button.

The display is nice and smart, only shows info when needed, and by auto it shuts off, only leaving a little yellow dot when not in use, no blinding power leds..

Sound is.. it's an amp.. it shouldn't have a sound.. and it is dead silent when not playing, no loopbacks, no hissing.

One con: The power adapter cable is kinda short for me, will get something for it.

Overall, it is a Yes from me, would buy again.
