This linear power module has its own EMI / RFI filter with an additional connector for properly connecting a toroidal transformer.

It uses a  Toshiba TTA1943 MOSFET driven by a LM317 for high precision in the low and moderate powers.

Effective filtration occurs through a combination of 4700μF capacity electronic capacitors  for a maximum voltage of 32V. Each power rail also benefits from a copper shelf for output filtering.

The output voltage is adjustable using a potentiometer mounted directly on the PCB. The power supply is capable of providing up to 20V / 2A (recommended). with occasional peaks up to 4A.
