900M-T-2.4D Soldering Iron Tip Ø2.4mm

The 900M-T-2.4D is a D-type soldering iron tip, equipped with a 2.4mm tip and designed for soldering operations requiring a relatively large contact surface. Its multilayer construction combines an oxygen-free copper substrate, providing good thermal conductivity, with several protective layers including an iron alloy layer, a rust- and corrosion-resistant nickel layer, as well as a surface plating designed to limit solder migration. The assembly incorporates a heating element allowing rapid temperature rise and benefits from a plating treatment announced with a 72-hour processing time. The contact area of the tip is precisely machined to facilitate the positioning and application of solder during soldering operations.
